affordable price, the all-new Kenwood TM-701A! This new 2m/70cm FM
dual bander has 20 memory channels, 25 watts on 2m and 70 cm, selectable
full-duplex operation, bright amber LCD display just like the new TM-231A
Series, and more!
Features-at-a-glance
*Extended frequency coverage on 2 m: Receives from 136 - 174 MHz,
modifiable for MARS and CAP. (Permits required for modification
information.)
*New DTMF/control function microphone included. In addition to the
standard DTMF for autopatch use, this new microphone can control call
channel, VFO, memory recall, change memory channels, and provides one user-
programmable function key.
*Dual digital VFOs.
*Adjustable frequency step selection: 5, 10, 12.5, 15, 20, and 25 kHz.
*CTCSS tone encoder built-in. (The optional TSU-6 enables tone decode.)
*Multi-mode scanning with carrier or time operated stop.
